Arrivals & Departures:

Upon arrival, guests should follow the signs to baggage claim. After descending the escalator, they will be greeted by an RMC staff member dressed in black with an RMC polo and a Compass Group logo’d sign, who will direct them to their driver.
 
For departures, guests should meet in the Main Inn lobby, where an RMC staff member with a Compass Group logo’d sign will greet them and escort them to their vehicle.
 
(Note: Main departures on Sunday, Nov. 8, will be based on a shuttle schedule that will be sent out once all attendee and guest flight information have been gathered.)

The Hotel:

Official check-in time at The Montage Palmetto Bluff is 4 p.m. The hotel will try to accommodate early arrivals but suggest having a change of clothes and swimsuit handy in case your room isn’t ready.

Check-out time is 12 p.m.

Dress Code:

Casual and leisure attire is appropriate for daytime activities and around the resort. The awards dinner on Friday evening requires black tie. For the other evenings events, please wear proper resort attire.

Important notes when requesting your spa treatment:

  • Due to volume, expect a 48-hour turnaround time of response/appointment confirmation before sending multiple emails to follow up.

  • The spa at the Montage Palmetto Bluff has only one couples room, so you may include your preference, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Engage in a premier clay target shooting experience with our one-hour, 50-round 5-Stand.

Our expertly designed stands present a variety of dynamic shooting scenarios suitable for participants of all skill levels. Under the guidance of our NCSA-certified instructors, each shooter receives personalized coaching on technique and safety protocols. This rewarding session is scalable to accommodate diverse group sizes, from intimate gatherings to large corporate functions of up to 24 shooters at one time.

Includes 50 rounds of ammunition, 50 clay targets, shotgun rental, cart rental, eye and ear protection and instruction per person.

Begin the experience with a leisurely cruise along the scenic May River, where a local captain will share insights into the rich wildlife and ecosystems that make this estuary so unique. Back on shore, guests will stroll along historic Calhoun Street with a knowledgeable docent, learning about Bluffton’s fascinating history and cultural heritage. In Old Bluffton, guests can continue exploring charming streets lined with 19th-century homes, visit the historic Church of the Cross built in 1854, and browse eclectic shops, artist studios, and galleries. Flower boxes, rocking chairs, whimsical garden art, and sculptures add to the town’s distinctive Lowcountry charm, with the option to stop for lunch at a quaint restaurant along Calhoun Street.

A U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain and experienced interpretive naturalist guide will lead this powerboat-based nature “hike” through the Lowcountry estuaries. Guests will explore many of the local waterways such as the Cooper River (a tidal salt river with views of the Haig Point and Harbour Town lighthouses), Bull Creek (a world-renowned site for unique dolphin behavior), the historic May River, and more. Cover a wide area on this great nature tour with a fantastic opportunity to view local Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins.

FAQs

Your guest can be a spouse, partner, significant other, friend, or family member as long as they are 21 or over.

No. This is a company all-expense paid incentive trip for the top Sales Directors. If you choose to bring a child, they must count as your guest. “Children” must be aged 21 or over. We are unable to book extra rooms to accommodate additional children/guests and suites will not be available.

If you choose to arrive in the area early or remain after the event concludes, you will be responsible for your own accommodations and airport transportation.

READ THIS: ***If you book flights on your own through your regular Concur profile and not via the registration link, or directly with the airline, you will not show up on the travel manifest used for ground transportation and will be responsible for arranging and paying for your own transportation upon arrival and departure.

Additionally, you will not show up in our financial reporting for our post event audit with the Compass tax department and may be responsible for reimbursing the company for your airfare during the audit process.

The approved airport is Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). Ground transportation will not be available from any other airport. If you fly into another airport, you will be responsible for arranging and paying for your transfers to/from the hotel

  • When completing the first page of registration, enter your (and your guest’s if applicable) full legal name as it appears on your travel documents
  • Complete the rest of registration filling in all required fields
  • Review the “Registration Summary” page carefully

RMC will track flights so will be aware of any delays and will be ready for you whenever you arrive. In the event of cancelled flights, please email Jenn your new booking itinerary and she will update RMC on new flight details.

Departures: You will receive a notice via the app on Friday night with the departure shuttle schedule and recommended transfer times.

Transportation will only be arranged to/from SAV and The Montage on the official event arrival and departure dates and will run directly between the airport and the hotel.

Yes, west coast team members located in the PST time zone (including AZ) may book flights to arrive on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Yes, you are welcome to enjoy extra time at the resort based upon room availability. You will also be responsible for any costs for the additional stay outside the R&SE window.

AMEX Travel will do their best to schedule separate flights to arrive/depart as close as possible. You and your guest can wait for the other to arrive if flying separately and travel together to the resort or we can arrange separate transportation if the wait time between flights is too long. If separate transportation is requested, please be sure your guest is aware that it is provided so they don’t order a ride share or other taxi service.

If you live within a 4-hour drive from Palmetto Bluff, you are strongly encouraged to drive to the event rather than fly

You may valet your car at the resort and will not be charged for this service.

If you need 2 double beds instead of a king bed, ADA-compliant features, or have any other specific requirements, please specify them when registering.

You will receive a $600 stipend per person, per room. This can be used at the spa/retail outlets or on organized daytime activities.

Any charges exceeding the $600 per person stipend will be billed back to you when our event audit is complete.

Food and beverage on property is included in your stay and will not be deducted from your stipend.

The Compass T&E Policy still applies, and we ask that you exercise good judgement with these expenses. Exorbitant or excessive expenses such as bottles of wine over $75, shots of alcohol, luxury meals such as lobster, etc. will not be covered and will be billed back to the individual.

We do not want to impose F&B caps to keep expenses under control. Please act and order within our corporate policies.

Off-property daytime meals may be paid for using your pcard during official event dates only and must adhere to company policy. Off-property meals will not be deducted from your stipend as long as itemized receipts are uploaded into Concur for pcard reporting with R&SE indicated in the expense notes. If itemized receipts are not included, you will be responsible for 100% of the costs.

Spa Menu

If you decide not to participate in a registered activity, the entire fee will still be taken from your stipend. Exceptions to this rule are if there is a waitlist for the activity or if you find someone else to take your spot.

For the Spa, a 24-hour change or cancellation notice is requested. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-show appointments will result in a 100% charge for the service that will be deducted from your stipend.

Yes with the exception of the free night on Saturday. Saturday is at your leisure to stay or depart early.

For all daytime, welcome reception and activities and around the resort, casual/leisure attire is appropriate.

The Awards Banquet on Friday evening is a formal, black-tie affair

For early November in Palmetto Bluff expect average high temperatures of around 70°F and average low of upper 40°F/ low 50°F. The cooler climate is perfect or outdoor activities but please make sure to bring a shall or cover up during the evenings. 

While on property you will see various wildlife from gators to deer. Please do not approach or feed the wildlife for your safety.

For on-property restaurants, charge the bill to your room when able. Any restaurants off property or those that don’t accept a room charge, please use your pCard and ensure all charges are reported in Concur.

You are welcome to enjoy the local area with your guest. Spending allowance will be $200 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity. Any amount over that will be charged back with any other overage expenses.
